We hope you can join us for a very informative evening with Dr. Cynthia Zutter


Dr. Cynthia Zutter

Dr. Zutter is an anthropology professor at MacEwan University. For the past three decades, she has been working at MacEwan where her time is spent both mentoring and guiding students to better understand their local communities and make choices that are respectful for all. She uses both the classroom and extra-curricular activities to help students learn about our local areas.

 

Cynthia (Dr. Zutter) comes from a family of seven who were born and raised in Edmonton. Giving back to the community and volunteerism was a cornerstone of her upbringing. She currently participates in a various not for profit organizations including the Green and Gold charity garden (greengoldgarden.com) where all the proceeds from produce grown at the garden is sent to Rwanda to support tubahurmurize, (http://rwandanwomencan.org) a charity that supports Rwandan women…

The Pioneer Museum is located behind Heritage Park in Stony Plain. Look for the Don Gray Barn once you enter Heritage Park. Take the access road at the west side of the parking lot.
