SUMMER OPENING HOURS.
MONDAY TO SATURDAY 10AM TO 4PM, SUNDAY 1-4
THE MUSEUM WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY, MAY 23RD FOR VICTORIA DAY
AT LONG LAST THE PIONEER MUSEUM TEA HOUSE WILL BE OPENING ON JUNE 3 FOR THE SUMMER SEASON!

Our Mission is to Collect, preserve and present our artifacts and stories for everyone.
The Pioneer Museum is preserving tens of thousands of objects for future generations and showing how rural life was for the people who built our communities. We keep alive our cultural heritage through demonstrations, field exhibits, displays, and hands on activities.

OUR TEA HOUSE
The Tea House will be opening for the season on June 3rd.
Open on Fridays and Saturdays from June until the end of September, 11am to 3pm, for delicious soups, sandwiches and desserts, the Pioneer Museum Tea House is the Museum's pride and joy.

EDUCATION PROGRAMS
The Museum offers field trips, primarily for Grade 5 on the Great Depression, and Grade 2 on Founding Cultures and Crawling Insects. We are also working on putting virtual field trips on Youtube for those schools that can't make it to Stony Plain for an in-person field trip.

LECTURE SERIES
We usually offer lectures on the topics of local history and culture in February and March of every year. All lecture topics will be posted on the website, Facebook and in the local newspaper.
